Wednesdays 2nd April-4th June "The Marriage Course".This is not just for those who are married but for all couples, whether married or not, who are in a long term relationship. To give you a flavour of what's in store, the sessions vary from "The Art of Communication" and "The Power of Forgiveness" to "Good Sex" and "Parents in Law" !
The course is to start on the 2nd. April in the Trinity Centre, Meole Brace Church, with subsequent meetings on the 9th. 16th. and 30th. April, 7th. 14th and 21st. May and the final meeting and party on 4th. June. Each session will begin with coffee and desert and aim to finish in around two hours or so.

May 12th - 18th Christian Aid Week
Friday 30th May- Sunday 1st June The Gathering, at Swanwick Conference Centre in Derbyshire, from 30th May to 1st June 2008; “Spirituality” is the theme – personal, sharing among the church traditions, and sharing with those outside the churches. It is picking up on the themes being explored during Lent, not least in Radio 4’s Sunday morning worship. It is a major national get-together intended for those involved in local ecumenical life and Churches Together grouping. More information is available on www.churches-together.net.

The next conference in the Food for the Journey series.
Led by Ann Morisy, the well-known Christian speaker and author.
Venue: Cardinal Griffin RC School, Cannock.
Time: 10 a.m. -- 4 p.m.
Cost: £15 including a buffet lunch and refreshments.
This event continues the tradition of ecumenical conferences, primarily for lay people, first started in 2000 by Anglican and Methodists in our local Diocese and District.
